SOFTWARE DOCUMENTATION
In this section of the site you will find work from my Developing Instructional Materials class.
All work in this class was some form of software documentation in either hard or soft copy.
With the exception of the aid of peer reviews and usability testing,
all documentation in this class was written as an individual effort. The process for each project included:
- creating a User Analysis
- writing a Draft Copy of the documentation
- conducting a Usabality Test and writing a Usability Test Report
- creating a Final Draft with revisions made based on any feedback,
usability test results, or other relevant documentation
** Please note: All documents below will open in a new window unless noted otherwise. **
- Tutorial Usability Report
This document is the usability report for a tutorial I wrote on how to shade a table using the Formatting Palette in Word 2001 for the Mac.
- To-Do List v. 1.16 User Guide (download .PDF)
This User Guide was written for To-Do List v. 1.16. A copy of this software can currently be found at
http://fp.futuresights.com/~angstrom/todolist.html by choosing To-Do List under the Sofware section of the site. I chose this program from a list given to us by my professor. All of the programs on the list were freeware and had no existing documentation. Providing this list ensured all students had access to the same software, that no costs were involved in obtaining the software, that the professor was familiar with the software, and that the software chosen by the student had no existing documentation.
